Job description:

Creating value for our stakeholders through sustainable development, we have a strong track record of performance in developing, operating and rehabilitating coal resources to produce predominantly export metallurgical coal for steel making.

We have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our Production team at Isaac Plains. This is a site-based role working a 7/7 roster.

Reporting to the Site Support Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing people and equipment to deliver production targets
  • Providing clear direction, coaching and day-to-day support to your team
  • Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities across production activities
  • Working closely with other departments to optimise performance and outcomes
  • Maintaining a strong field presence and actively engaging with the site teams
  • Complying with all site standards, procedures and safety requirements
  • Contributing to a safe work environment through active participation in safety processes

What we would love to see in you to make this a success

  • Experience in an open cut mining environment (production)
  • Open Cut Examiner (OCE) ticket desirable
  • Previous leadership experience or demonstrated leadership capability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, coach and develop a high performing team
  • Good understanding of systems and processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise work
